We are seeking to recruit an experienced Engineering Manager to head up our  in-house Engineering Design team.  Reporting to the Managing Director, this brand new senior role will be responsible for all aspects of our design process.  Starting from specification, our customer built machines are designed by our team of in-house designers for manufacture in our dedicated workshops.

You will be responsible for all aspects of Engineering team management, design schedule management, project specification compliance, design review (pre and post project), meeting delivery KPIs for manufacture, and customer/supplier liaison.

You will play a key role in developing and maintaining engineering design processes, developing engineering standards, and operational strategies for the engineering department.

Key skills & experience required:

• Tertiary qualification essential
• Previous experience in a similar leadership role
• CAD system experience (3D modelling systems)
• Previous ERP/MRP exposure

This role can be based on either the Capricorn Coast in Central Queensland or in the Hunter Valley, NSW.

Operating in a busy manufacturing environment, the Purchasing Officer will be responsible for the sourcing and the purchase of all components.  The Purchasing Officer must possess proven experience in a purchasing role, or be able to demonstrate the essential skills required of this role, that you have gained in similar role.  You will be highly analytical, be and able to communicate with customers and suppliers, and able to quickly master our ERP system and purchasing processes. You should be accurate, financially rigorous, well organised and able to work under pressure.

Based on the Capricorn Coast, and located within 50kms of large regional centre of Rockhampton, this position will be working within our Head Office team.  This role also offers significant potential for career progression.

Key skills & experience required:

• Experience in a Purchasing Role, preferably within a manufacturing environment
• Hands-on knowledge of ERP systems
• Experience of working in a changing and demanding environment
• Rigour and strong analytical skills
• Ability to communicate effectively, in particular negotiating with suppliers

Inoxihp’s first trade apprentice qualifies for his trade certificates!

As part of our company development policy Inoxihp strongly support apprenticeship training.

We have seen tremendous value in tailoring the skills of these apprentices to the manufacture and overhaul of our unique product.  The first of our four apprentices to complete his trade certificate with Inoxihp is Michael Evangelatos on 15^th of November 2011.  Michael works at our Mount Thorley workshop and came to Inoxihp from a completely different industry.  He has shown remarkable aptitude during his traineeship.  Congratulations Michael from all your colleagues and staff at Inoxihp.

Reporting directly to the Service Manager you will be responsible for the creation, maintenance and coordination of all user manuals, product & procedures documentation and reviews and updates.  You will be accountable for the delivery of documentation to the client in a timely and efficient manner.  As the Technical Writer you will need to liaise with a variety of personnel including management, engineers, field service personnel and administration staff.

 The successful applicant will have:

• Previous experience as a Technical Writer, preferably working in the mining or engineering industries
• Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge, incorporating Publisher
• Proven ability to produce a range of technical documentation including user manuals, training packages, safety and procedural documentation.
• Strong organisational skills, flexibility and the ability to work autonomously
• Previous experience with LinkOne software is highly desirable
• An Australian Citizenship or an Australian Permanent Residency

Inoxihp Australia held it’s annual Safety Presentation on the 27^th August in Brisbane.  This meeting has become a popular forum for people from many aspects of the longwall community to gather together.  The culture of the meeting is to highlight & discuss thoughts on design, functionality or operation of longwall pump stations in a completely open forum.

This year had representatives from mining companies Xstrata and Vale, as well as several mining consultants and members from the Inoxihp design team.  Discussion on the day was varied and rewarding, of particular note was a presentation on Reliability Centred Maintenance given by Justin Russell from Palaris.   This method is being rapidly adopted within the longwall mining community and Justin’s knowledge on the subject was of great benefit to all.

Our Service Department is seeking a highly motivated Service Engineer/Technician Tropical Qld to support our new and existing client base in the Qld Bowen Basin.  You can enjoy living by the coast every weekend, whilst enjoying the benefits of Australia’s mining resource boom!

As a Service Engineer you will enjoy a predominantly autonomous role with flexible working arrangements, including a 4 on, 3 off working week with weekends at home.  Reporting to the Service Manager, you will support our existing customers & develop these relationships to optimise equipment availability and reliability.  You will play a vital role in providing onsite servicing and fault diagnosis, train & assist clients with repairs, preventative maintenance inspection reporting, as well as commissioning new equipment.

To be successful in this role you will have excellent interpersonal and communications skills, along with the ability to absorb and impart technical knowledge.  A mechanical trade qualification is essential along with a current motor vehicle drivers license and the ability to work in Australia.  Underground experience is desirable, but not essential.

We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to our growing team in the Hunter Valley - Singleton area.

 As part of the Engineering team you will be encouraged to develop your ability to design and explore applications of new technology.  You will design mechanical assemblies, electro-pneumatic control systems & hydraulic circuits to extremely high & exacting standards.  Safety & reliability will be paramount.

As part of the Engineering team you will:

• Produce detail drawings for manufacture, as well as as-built detail design & drawing updates  
• Be encouraged to develop your ability to design, and explore applications of new technology and,
• Designing with Autodesk Inventor for incorporation into company ERP software.

 As the Detail Draftsman, assemblies & detail will be progressed through manufacturing directly from your design output.

 The successful applicant will have demonstrated:

• Mechanical design capability,
• Previous experience with CAD systems – Autodesk Inventor preferred, and
• Fluent English language and comprehension.
